Dialin (Suspension) (Nifuroxazide/Pectin/Demiticone/Attapulgite)

COMPOSITION
Each 5 ml of suspension contain:
Nifuroxazide 200 mg
Pectin 60 mg
Dimethicone 25 mg
Attapulgite 100 mg
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Treatment of diarrhea of different genesis
(infective, neurogenetic, diarrhea caused other reasons: intake of unusual meals
in big quantities, etc.) and connected symptoms.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to medication composition,
hypersensitivity to derivative 5-nitrofurane, when prematurity, children under 2
months.
ADVERSE EFFECTS
Allergic reactions may occur.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Children 2 to 6 month of age – by 2.5 ml of
suspension 2 times daily.
Children of 6 month to 6 years of age – by 5 ml suspension 3 times daily.
Adults and children over 6 years – by 5 ml 4 times daily.
Shake well before application.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
Intake of alcohol or alcohol preparations during
treatment of Nifuroxazide causes feeling of heat in face and neck, heaviness in
occipital part of head, tachycardia and reduction of blood pressure.
Simultaneous prescription with antacids should be avoidable (defoaming action of
demiticone is heavily inhibited by aluminium hydrate and magnesuim carbonate).
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
When symptoms of dehydration occur it is
necessary to administrate salt solutions taking into consideration clinical
condition and loosing volume of liquid. Simultaneous intake of alcohol
preparations is forbidden during therapy with Nifuroxazide.

120 ml suspension in bottles with proportioning
cup.
