THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS

- Period of preparation to pregnancy;
- Toxicosis prevention of pregnancy;
- Prophylaxis of congenital malformations of fetus development, determined by vitamin and mineral deficit;
- Prevention and treatment of anemia in pregnant;
- Prophylaxis and treatment of vitamin and mineral deficit in women during periods of pregnancy and lactation.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

- Increased sensitivity to drug components.

ADVERSE EFFECTS

Allergic reactions are possible to drug components.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Emfetal is administered orally 2 tablets a day during meal time.
It is recommended to visit a doctor before drug administration.

DRUG INTERACTIONS

The absorption of iron, forming the drug, decreases during co-administration of Emfetal with antacids. Vitamin B6, forming the drug, decreases the levodopa efficacy. Depletives, in composition of which the mineral oil enters, and colestiramine reduce the fixation of vitamins А, D and E. Fluorouracil, vinblastine, bleomycine, cisplatin disturb the fixation of vitamins А, В1 and В6. Penicillamine, isoniazid reduce the efficacy of vitamin В1, increasing its excretion. Isoniazid reduces the efficacy of pyridoxine. Vitamin Е strengthens the effect of cardiac glycosides, glucocorticosteroids, nonsteroid anti-inflammatory drugs. Emfetal is not recommended to administer simultaneously with other polyvitaminic complex in order to avoid the overdose.

MANUFACTURED FORM

Film coated tablets. 15 tablets in blister. 4 blisters in a carton box together with leaflet.
